Chickpeas with tomato sauce and couscous

Ingredients for 2:

  • 400g Ready chick peas
  • 280g ready ARRABBIATA
  • Oregano
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Bacon (optional)
  • One bowl of couscous per person. (Choose precooked couscous. It is quick and convenient)

Method

  • Drain the chick peas from their water and combine with the tomato sauce in a saucepan together with oregano and laurel.
  • Stir occasionally and cook them over a medium heat for about 10 minutes. Serve hot together with a bowl of plain couscous.
  • If you want to use the bacon, than you have to cut it in small pieces and brown it in the saucepan, before you add the ARRABBIATA.
