Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 280 g of ARRABBIATA ready sauce
- Mozzarella
- Bread at your choice
- 3 garlic cloves
- Oregano
- Fresh basil leaves
- Extra virgin Olive Oil
- Salt
Method
- Combine the tomato sauce with the garlic and stir occasionally on a medium heat.
- Arrange pieces of bread on a baking sheet and place the sheet in the middle of the oven to toast the bread. Allow 1 to 2 minutes at 230°C or remove when golden brown.
- Top each piece of bread with approximately 2 or 3 teaspoon of the tomato sauce. (The quantity depends from the size of your bread) . Then top the mixture with some small cubes of mozzarella cheese.
- Place the baking sheet in the middle of the oven to melt the cheese, approximately 1 minute or until slightly melted.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle the top with fresh chopped basil leaves and serve warm.
