Pesto – cheese puffs

Ingredients:

  • Puffs (or vol-au-vent or any kind of savory shell available in the market)
  • Basil Pesto
  • Soft Cream Cheese (you can use feta)
  • Sundried Tomatoes, in oil, sliced

Procedure:

Place a teaspoon of basil pesto in each tartlet, top with the cream cheese, and complete with  sliced sun-dried tomatoes on the top.

Suggestions:

  • You can mix the soft cream cheese with some goat cheese if you like strong flavors.
  • For an easier and quicker preparation, you could coarsely chop the dry tomatoes and mix it with the cheese. In this case you can decorate the top with a basil leave, or with some pine nuts, or with almond flakes.
